My Story<\/h2>\n

I didn\u2019t start out with advantages.<\/p>\n

I grew up in a single-parent household with my mom and two sisters\u2014one older, one younger. Money was tight, and instability was a constant. The power got shut off more than once. We moved often because rent couldn\u2019t be paid. There were times when food was scarce.<\/p>\n

That kind of childhood leaves a mark.<\/p>\n

In school, I never felt like I fit in. I struggled, my grades were poor, and honestly, I didn\u2019t see the point. School felt like something to survive, not something that mattered. I heard the same thing over and over again at conferences: \u201cIf he would only apply himself\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The truth? I didn\u2019t know how.<\/p>\n

Everything started to change in college. I met someone–a girl, of course–I wanted to impress\u2014and for the first time, I found a reason to try. That spark turned into something bigger. I discovered that I could<\/em> succeed.<\/p>\n

And in a twist I never would have predicted, I became a teacher\u2026 and eventually, a principal.<\/p>\n

But I never forgot where I came from.<\/p>\n

Those early experiences pushed me to ask a question that would shape my life\u2019s work:
Why do smart, capable kids struggle so much in school?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I dove deep into that question through my postgraduate research\u2014and what I learned changed everything. It reshaped how I understand motivation, learning, and success. More importantly, it led me to develop the Academic Improvement Plan for Students and Families you\u2019ll find here at Dream. Decide. DO!<\/p>\n

Since leaving traditional education in 2015, I\u2019ve continued working with people at another critical stage of life\u2014supporting residents and families in Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. In many ways, I\u2019m still helping parents and their children\u2026 just from the other side of the journey.<\/p>\n

At the same time, I\u2019ve gone through my own personal transformation. I became deeply committed to growth\u2014reading, learning, and applying the ideas of some of the most influential voices in personal development. That journey didn\u2019t just change my thinking\u2014it changed my life.<\/p>\n

And it brings me to you.<\/p>\n

Because here\u2019s what I believe:<\/p>\n

Everything that matters starts with a dream.
But dreams don\u2019t work on their own.<\/p>\n

They require a decision.
And that decision must be followed by action.<\/p>\n

When you repeat those decisions and actions consistently, something powerful happens: your life begins to change.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s what Dream. Decide. DO! is all about.<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s why I\u2019m here\u2014to help you (or your child) move from stuck\u2026 to capable\u2026 to thriving.<\/p>\n

My Approach<\/h2>\n

I start with compassion\u2014and a firm refusal to judge. I\u2019m far less interested in where you\u2019ve been than in where you want to go.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll ask thoughtful questions to help you uncover your dreams and understand what truly drives you. Together, we\u2019ll get clear on where you are now and where you want to be. Then we\u2019ll map out the possible paths to get you there\u2014one step at a time.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll focus on small, bite-sized improvements, repeated daily. That\u2019s where real change happens.<\/p>\n

Along the way, we\u2019ll tackle strategies for overcoming the inevitable obstacles. And more importantly, we\u2019ll learn how to turn those challenges into fuel for your progress.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll be your biggest supporter, your most consistent encourager\u2014and the one who tells you the truth, even when it\u2019s not what you want to hear.<\/p>\n
